Jimpress - Jimi Hendrix magazine with subscribers worldwide!

Since the death of Jimi Hendrix in 1970, his music and image have become synonymous with creativity and style. He transformed rock music in a way never seen before or since. Continually held up as the greatest electric guitarist of all time, he continues to influence musicians of every generation.

It is now more than half a century since the death of Jimi Hendrix in 1970, yet his music continues to inspire generation after generation, and his image remains synonymous with creativity and style. We have been providing a news and information service to collectors of the music of Jimi Hendrix since 1991. If you need to keep up to date with all things Jimi Hendrix then you need a subscription to Jimpress. Our publication schedule is fluid in order to react to "new" releases or other important news but the intention is to publish twice a year. We are currently slightly exceeding that but we only publish if we have something to say.

Although the world is finally struggling to return to some sort of normality, we have had a few months of incredible highs and incredible lows at Jimpress Towers. We are pleased to report that stability is finally being restored and the silver lining is that two issues of Jimpress are incoming. You can, of course, find details on the order pages. Not only that but Doug Bell has compiled an incredible, 122-page index to issues 51-125. Again you can find this on the order pages if you are not a subscriber. You can find details of the contents of issues 125 and 126 on the Current Issue page.

In addition to the magazine we have published a number of books over the years culminating in the recent compilation of all the available knowledge of Jimi's recordings, both audio and visual, professional and amateur, in eight, soon to become nine, very large volumes of From The Benjamin Franklin Studios. These A4 books are again printed on high quality, glossy paper. Parts 1-8 are now available to order (but there are only a handful of copies left) and Part 9 will be available in late 2022.

Our guide to Jimi Hendrix related locations in and around London is now available again, in an updated and further expanded, 5th edition. This A5, 164-page book now covers 135 locations with a Hendrix connection, all within the M25 orbital motorway. Copies can be ordered here.
